CSU will re-open its doors after closing Wednesday due to severe snow storm conditions a university spokesperson said early Thursday morning.
Classes and normal university operations will commence as usual, CSU spokesperson Emily Wilmsen said.
University officials closed CSU and cancelled classes at 2 p.m. Wednesday, citing concern over increasingly severe weather forecasts for the Northern Colorado region.
Facilities Management snow plows and members of the snow removal team were seen early Thursday morning clearing the streets and sidewalks running through campus.
In what the Associated Press called the largest October snow storm since 1997, Fort Collins saw more than 12 inches of snow.
