The CSU football team received good news on Friday as they learned that UCLA running back Raymond Carter will transferring to Colorado State to become a Ram.

Carter, who was a redshirt sophomore in 2008, played in seven games last season carried the ball 25 times for 29 yards and one touchdown.

The 6-foot, 210 pound Crenshaw HS graduate from Los Angeles will have to sit out the 2009 season due to NCAA regulations, but will be eligible to play at the start of the 2010 season where he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
