BOG votes Joe Blake as chancellor finalist

Joe Blake addresses the media shortly after being accepted as the new chancellor of CSU at the Administration Building on the Oval.
Following the recommendation of its chancellor search committee, the CSU System Board of Governors voted Tuesday afternoon to accept Joe Blake, vice-chair of the board and president of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, as the sole finalist for the system's next chancellor.

The board must wait a period of two weeks before it can hire Blake, as state law requires his name remain public for that period of time.
