Police cite 4 in Fort Collins church burglaries

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Police have identified four suspects in two church burglaries in Fort Collins.
Authorities said Monday that 28-year-old Derek Michael Modak of Grand Junction was arrested on charges of burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in a Jan. 16 burglary at Westminster Presbyterian.
Two 13-year-old boys were issued summonses on burglary charges in that burglary and were released to their parents. Their names weren't released.
Forty-six-year-old Ward Richard Young was arrested on charges of burglary and criminal mischief in connection with an Oct. 16 burglary at St. John's Lutheran.
Police say he is a suspect in 17 other church burglaries since September.
He has been at the Larimer County jail on unrelated charges.
