Jury selection began Monday for a former CSU employee charged with allegedly sexually assaulting multiple women near campus in 2007. A spokesperson for the District Attorney's Office said that he faces 13 separate charges against eight different victims.

An attorney in the case of Samuel Kase White, 31, said Monday morning he believed it would take a couple of days to empanel a jury of 12 men and women and two alternates. Opening statements could be presented by Wednesday.

District Court Judge Terence Gilmore placed a gag order on the case, meaning that court officials cannot disclose any information regarding the trial other than the charges.

White, who is being held in county jail in lieu of $1 million bail, has pleaded not guilty to 13 charges, which include the alleged assaults, burglary and attempted sexual assault. Authorities claim White used his computer at work to look up the addresses of female employees. Two of the alleged victims were 21 years old at the time of the attacks in September 2007.

White worked at an administrative assistant in the Human Resources Office. He was arrested in early December 2007 and fired from his position later that same month.
