Man shot north of CSU campus

A man with a gun was taken into custody early Sunday morning for allegedly shooting another man at the intersection of Grant and Myrtle streets.
Two people have been arrested. Police responded with assault rifles, chasing the suspect in back yards, witnesses say. Police have blocked of the block in the Old Town residential area.
Several witnesses at a nearby house party say they heard what they thought were fireworks, but turned out be gun shots. Paramedics have taken the victim to the hospital.
