FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) _ Relatives of a Fort Collins woman who was strangled, sexually assaulted and left in her burning home have asked for the public's help in finding her killer.

Firefighters found 20-year-old Linnea Dick in her home Friday. The coroner's office says she died of asphyxiation.

Dick's body was found in an upstairs bedroom. One fire was burning in the bedroom and another in the basement. A cat died in the blaze.

Police are searching for her missing car, a dark blue 1997 Nissan Altima with a rear spoiler.

Her uncle, Terry Snyder, asked the public on Monday to watch for the car and to be alert for any possible leads.

The vehicle has Colorado plates with 015KFH as the number. The front and back license plates are displayed in holders with small red skulls that look like cherries or dots from a distance according to a Fort Collins Police press release.
