Call-A-Lawyer Night Free, confidential legal advice 6 to 8 p.m. (970) 482-4846 |
Many college students have legal questions, but the spare change found under the couch cushions can't always buy good advice.
Tonight's Call-A-Lawyer night provides the opportunity to get those civil and/or criminal legal questions answered, free and confidentially.
From 6 to 8 p.m. lawyers from The Young Lawyers Division of the Larimer County Bar Association will be on hand to answer legal questions ranging from landlord/tenant issues to family law and everything in between.
The volunteer lawyers will give each caller brief counsel regarding their situation and advise the caller as to whether he or she needs to seek an attorney's services.
Since tonight's lawyers work on a volunteer basis, specific referrals to private firms will not be available. Instead, callers will be directed to CSU legal services, non-profit organizations and/or public defenders, if necessary. If legal assistance is not needed, lawyers will give callers sources on where to get information pertaining to their cases.
