Woody's enforcement of minors policy inconsistent

This letter is in response to Kim Williford's letter concerning David Lord's column "Woody's denies happiness to minors." First, I would argue that Woody's is not a typical "bar." It is a restaurant with a bar attached and allows minors to eat in both the bar and restaurant areas during most of its hours. Second, Lord's column wasn't meant to protest the drinking age. Woody's is a privately owned business and has the right to refuse service to minors if it chooses. However, even though there is nothing illegal in its activities, Woody's South Park age policy is very bad business Ñnot only because it excludes minors, but because it is very inconsistent as well.
I am 20, but I have been both allowed in to watch South Park and denied entry. Because of this inconsistency, I doubt I will ever patronize Woody's even when I turn 21. They obviously have some major organizational problems.
