Yay | to 'All Saints Day.' No, not the holiday, but the newest installment of the Boondock Saints story. Finally society has some true heroes: two drunk, gunslinging Irishmen.

Nay | to Halloween hangovers. Only on this holiest of drinking days can you see a Teletubbie puke over a balcony, then proceed to make out with a circus clown.

As an overprotective father, it really frightened me when my daughter started high school. She is a young girl, barely ready to move on into the "real world.

Go to any search engine and type in "swine flu." Guaranteed, there will be more than 30 million hits in less than 15 seconds.

In July 2009, the media was reporting more than a million cases of swine flu, 500,000 of which reportedly were in New York City.

On Oct. 29, there was a statistic released stating that 6 million were infected. Another source claimed one day that 114 children had died because of the swine flu, and media outlets were reporting on every person who coughed, sneezed or dared to venture into public with a fever.

There are maps with "real-time" updates of where cases of swine flu are being reported. Staggering statistics of the infirm are everywhere. Every time we look, another million people are being added to the number of those stricken by the swine flu.

Utah is East Hollywood. While almost everyone knows that the High School Musical franchise was filmed in Salt Lake, you may not know that some actual quality movies have been filmed here too.

While there is an expansive list of movies shot in Utah, there's only room for five items on this list.

Maybe we should run around naked

I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday, and the history of it completely fascinates me. Every year, I watch "Hocus Pocus," and it never gets old. But, the Halloween of today does not even come close to what it is used to represent.

Halloween, also known as All Hallows Eve, is supposed to be a night to celebrate the dead and their return to this Earth.
