The Bruins volleyball team took the Region 18 title to advance to the national tournament for the second straight year.
Since the Bruins were also the regular season champion the hosted the tournament. Coming in as the one seed the Bruins took on the Snow Badgers in their first game and beat them in four sets: 22-25, 25-11, 25-21, and 25-18.

After staying at wide receiver for the majority of the 2009 season, the position shuffle that has been T.J. Borcky's playing career with the CSU Rams gained new life this week.
The Rams returned to the practice fields south of Moby Arena Wednesday, along with questions of whether Borcky will ultimately end up a wide receiver or a quarterback.

After being promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday, former CSU tight end Kory Sperry made an immediate impact during his first career NFL game for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Sperry had three receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 25-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Landshark Stadium in Miami.
